The NJPAC glittered with holiday cheer on December 9, 2024, as the NHASF hosted its Inaugural Holiday Reception and Awards Ceremony. Hosted by Newark's South Ward Councilman and NHA Commissioner, Patrick Council, the evening was a celebration of achievement and community.
The event recognized three outstanding individuals: Jaylah Judd (Student), Doric Johnson (Parent), and Zachary D. Lewis (Beacon of Advocacy). Their dedication and contributions to the NHASF community were lauded, inspiring all in attendance.

Desmond shared his personal journey of perseverance, detailing the challenges and triumphs of working three jobs while pursuing his Master's degree.
